New York City Attractions

Very few cities around the world have the kind of emotional attachement like New York City does. When we think of New York, the things that rush through our minds might include finance, tall skyscrapers, Mr Trump, entertainment, shopping, food, stock exchange, dreams, possibilities, Central Park, New York Pizza, Bronx and the like..the list is endless.

This is one of the few cities that is named twicw, that is New York, New York and its the capital city of New York State. Some people are actually suprised to learn that their are othe cities in New York State including Brooklyn, The Bronx, Queens & Staten Island. Out of all these, New York City is the most densely populated city in New York State. The city of New York, which is about 322 square miles, has over 8,000,000 people living in it. Out of the 8 million, 1.6 million live in Manhattan which is less than 25 square miles!! What this means is that for every square mile, 60,000 people are to be found here.

The Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island make up the five boroughs in New York. These boroughs are unique in their own personal way. For example, the Yankees is found in the Bronx where we also have the Yankee Stadium. Also, in Bronx you will find shopping outlets, Off-Off Broadway and the music movements. The Bronx is fast becoming the place to find something that is unusual. 2.5 million people live in the Bronx, and these people come from different sets of cultural background. Due to the rich diversity found in Brooklyn for example its unique music, fashion and architecture makes it rival the excitement of New York. At the heart of New York city is Manhattan which is popularly known as New York City by most people.

Queens on the other hand is a diverse borough with many residents living in its streets, suburban centres & country like areas. At Queens you will find a large variety of cultural differences. For example, you have the Greek, Polish, Italian and so forth. Staten Island is another location that has different cultural diversities from the suburbs to country estates. Residents of Staten Island get a free Ferry when going over to Manhattan.
